I just found an interesting project - Seedkit.
I have not tried but It says -
Blending Web technologies with Gnome mature and complete stack is an
opportunity that deserve to be investigated. In this context, SeedKit
offer ways to define native applications user interfaces with fully
standard technologies. The recent breakthroughs of HTML5/CSS3/JS makes
it a very compelling UI definition and design opportunity and has huge
base of authoring tools and developers. I like it license
libseedkit is licenced under the LGPL 2+ terms.
seedkit-viewer is licenced under the GPL 2+. read also - http://blogs.gnome.org/johan/2010/03/30/bridging-the-development-gap-between-...
